Antique 19C German Black Forest Figural Hand-carved Tabletop Music Stand; Gnomes

Description: Offering this splendid late 19th or early 20th Century black forest hand-carved tabletop music stand. Having hinged easel back and hinged ledge to hold sheet music which folds closed when not in use. Heavily carved tree, branch and foliate form substrate with two celebrating gnomes or costumed hunters, owl, frog, syrup bucket and tools. No apparent makers mark. Approximate measurements: 13”H x width 15”W Original, unaltered condition. End of top branch missing small section (center top) and one old break to side (right) branch (see last photos). Easel stand slightly jiggles - hinged hardware could be stabilized. Two o-hooks screwed in back to hang on wall. No other obvious damage found. No worming damage or dryness to wood.
