Description: Up for sale here is this vintage tube amplifier. I do not know if this is a homebrew or a commercially made amplifier, but it is clearly very well-built. This is from the 1940s or early 1950s. This does not come with any tubes, and I don't know what it would run normally, sorry. This has 4 sockets, so maybe 2 6L6, a 5U4G, and a driver tube of some sort? This has some really nice transformers on it. The output transformer is a Stancor A-3307, there's a nice Thordarson 20C53 choke on there, another item that looks like a smaller choke, and a gigantic New York Transformer Company power transformer, which appears to be marked C42 61 or C42761 and 366023 under it. This has some nice vintage Sprague Atom caps underneath and a nice vintage Sprague can cap up top. Cosmetic condition is decent, but this does have some light to moderate wear overall. The can capacitor is a bit loose, and the front RCA jacks is just hanging there. This is completely untested--it is pretty old, and I'm not sure exactly how to hook it up, so I will leave that up to the buyer. This is sold as non-working, for repair. It will need rebuilding before it is ready to use. This will be an incredible amp once it is rebuilt. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $50, and international is $200.
