Antique 1930’s F. Herder Solingen German Bowie Knife Leather Sheath

Description: Here is an Antique 1930’s era F. Herder Bowie Knife , very rare. Overall length is 14” inches, the blade being 7.25” inch. 1.5” inch at widest point. The blade appears to have not been sharpened and has very sharp factory edge. I am not very familiar with this particular knife, Solingen German steel blade . This has a rat tail tang, bone handle with brass bolsters. Very stout and rugged knife nothing loose, blade is perfectly straight. It does show minimal wear for the age. It comes with a custom leather sheath. The knife fits perfectly but I don’t believe this is original to the knife. Made in Germany. This knife is very old and had been in collection kept for many years. It is in excellent used condition and will undoubtedly make a fine addition to any collection!!
