Description: Offered is this antique document from the District Court of the United States for the Northern District of Georgia. This "commitment" paper orders the "jailor" of Floyd County, Georgia to "receive and commit" James Smith to the county jail. The document is dated March 1, 1923. The document is approx. 8 3/8" x 7" when opened up. It is in good to very good condition, with no holes or tears, but does have some creases and wrinkles.
