Antique 1920s Faries? Industrial Brass Articulated Bankers Draft Desk Lamp

Description: SHIPPING ANNOUNCEMENT------USPS has recently raised their prices, a lot. Previously most orders would ship most cost effectively with USPS. Please compare all 4 methods available under the shipping tab. Up for your consideration is what I believe is likely a 1920s Faries articulating bankers lamp. I cannot find a makers mark so I am not positive. Also most but not all of the different Faries lamp have a brass covered iron weighted base. This particular lamp just has a wonderful iron base with no cover. The patina on the base is fantastic. The articulating arms and the hood are brass. This is an Art Deco style desk lamp. The condition of the socket appears to be good but the wiring is not so it will need to be rewired. This lamp is in good to fair condition or fabulous depending how you look at it. There is surface rust, oxidation, color loss, scratches, small dents and dings. The cord is bad. Because the cord is bad this lamp has not been tested, being sold as is. Size -11.75"L(first articulator to end of hood) x 5.25"W(base) x 15.75"H(to first articulator). The hood is 5 5/8"Diameter If you need your item shipped with a particular carrier let me know. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us.
