Description: Beat up old book but all pages are accounted for with only graffiti being check marks next to rules the employee assigned this book must’ve felt he knew or needed to know more about. The date says 1919 & a few pages have clipped patches updating a couple of the rules. I had no idea why cabooses were needed on trains & I certainly had no clue the whistle of a train conveyed more than just, “Move! Get off the track! Train coming!” Interesting reading for someone not into railroad ephemera so I imagine a collector would treasure this original employee manual.
