Description: large original antique map of the State of Oregon dated 1910 - lightly colored version -- from the US GLO: the General Land Office of the US Dept. of the Interior -- this was done under the direction of Fred Dennett, Commissioner, and L.P. Berthrong, Drafting Chief; compiled by M. Hendges with revisions by A.F. Dinsmore -- printed by the Eckert Lithographing Co. of Wash. DC -- a relief map this includes towns, railroads, military roads, lighthouses, boundaries, etc.; and an inset map of Portland -- -- measures app. 31 1/2 by 39 1/2 in. -- -- scale 1:760,000 // 1 in. equals 12 miles -- -- -- map is folded/creased with pinholes in the corners and some moderate edge deckling/ a few small rips -- overall nice condition with minimal fading -- -- appears to be very rare -- info from the US National Archives map collection: " 721.
