Antique 1904 ARTHUR J ELSLEY 'Divided Attention' Print Oak Framed

Description: DESCRIPTION - A genuine antique early 20th century print entitled 'Divided Attention' below the image. Beautiful, charming print taken from a painting by the popular listed artist Arthur John Elsley. Elsley was an English painter of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, famous for his idyllic genre scenes of playful children and their pets (1860 - 1952). A grandmother reads to her granddaughter, but their attention is caught by two kittens playing with a piece of thread. Framed in its original attractive solid oak wooden frame with gilt slip and wooden backing board. Photographed in natural daylight with no digital enhancements. APPROX SIZE of visible image 13" x 9.5" and 16" x 12" including frame. CONDITION - In very good condition with no discolouration or fading but there does appear to be some discolouration on the border top centre. With the usual age related marks to frame but generally very good - please see photos to satisfy yourself as to condition as they form part of the description. I do my best to describe all faults but am not infallible so please do not make a purchase unless you are totally happy regarding the condition. .
