Description: This needle case measures 4 1/2" in length. It is decorated with five landscapes depicting what appear to be ancient ruins. It is made in the style of other items from South Staffordshire, Bilston, and Battersea during the 18th and early 19th centuries, and was probably made in one of those places during that date range. There's a pinhead sized chip on the body of the case near the exposed metal portion. The blue isn't quite as vibrant as it appears in the pictures.
