Antique 18th C. Chinese Blue & White Charger Kangxi Period Chenghua Mark #43

Description: Here we have a very fine Chinese blue and white porcelain charger/ plate from the Kangxi Period (1662-1722 ) with the earlier Chenghua Period mark (1465-1487). The plate depicts a village scene with buildings and workers carrying products. It also shows a man riding a buffalo. The rim has a trellis pattern with a floral design below. The reverse rim is decorated with stylized flowers, and a six character Chengua Period mark contained within triple circles in the center. The plate retains it's antique metal hanger. This is a companion piece with another 3 we are selling. Size and Condition: 11 1/2 inches in diameter, 1 1/4 inches deep. There are no rim chips or frits. One 5 1/2" hairline in center of back (see last photos). Please see the other 18th Century Chinese plates we are selling. #43 Shipping weight, well packed, is 3 1/2 lbs.
