Description: Beautifully gold embossed antique book “Three Women” by Ella Wheeler Wilcox, published in 1897. The hard cover is dark red. There is a black and white portrait of the author on the inside. Tucked away in between pages 78-79 is a cutout hand drawn and and colored woman in a long dress, consistent with the age of the book. She has been between those pages a very long time as her outline is imprinted in both pages. Very romantic and intriguing! The spine feels tight and the pages are clean with age appropriate coloring. I can find not tears or dog ears on the pages. A name has been erased on one of the first pages and there is the name “Char-Lou Castle on a paper sticker inside the first page. The back cover has some rippling in the linen cover, which has also come unglued along about 3 inches of the edge. There is some discoloration overall on the outside and inside cover, normal for such an old book. Overall, it’s in nice shape.
