This piece has been cut off below the bus and it is missing all of the center front buttons. The exterior material is a black silk. There is no boning. We have not washed this piece, and it is over 100 years old, it does not have a smoke or mold odor. There are a few snags in the exterior material, mostly on the sleeves. This is a good foundation piece for someone to rework or recreate.
