Description: Antique Henry J Green Brass Standard Marine Stick Barometer Brooklyn New York - International Shipping Calculated! -As I understand it, these " standard" barometers were used to check accuracy of other lesser quality barometers and to check altimeters of airplanes. They were used in weather observatories as well. These were much more expensive in the Henry Green catalog of 1894 than normal barometers. Most of our items come from estates and small auctions within 30 or 40 miles from my house.
