Description: Late 1800's/early 1900's Black Calico Blouse and Skirt set. There are 2 notable blemishes, one is a light spot on the bottom back or the blouse, and the other is some damage near the waist closure on the skirt, but other than that PRISTINE. No dry rot to note. The blouse has 2 layers, Mother of Pearl buttons, pleats, and a buckle back (tie back, hook back, what have you). The skirt is more modest and simple in design. Just a straight up skirt with simple waist closure. Double layer fabric at the hem. These pieces are entirely wearable, but would also look amazing as display, or be an amazing design resource.
