He was born in 1844 and died in 1908. He was a member of the American Water Color Society and of the New York Etching Club, and was an excellent teacher. This etching is a wonderful fantasy of lady with lantern lighting the sky. It is excellent clean condition and printed on heavy paper. It is framed in an antique lemon yellow frame which is not original but suits the print. The etching is free (not glued down) and has acid free backboard and mat. Frame measures 19x15 inches.
