Description: This is a very good Large Meerschaum from about 1860. The body is 4 1/4" long, 1 11/16" wide , with the stem it is 13 1/2" long. It weighs 186 grams with the stem, the body weighs 164.6 grams. A great design and carving of a Musketeer or Knight with his arms outstretched, by a castle wall. It is in good condition with a hairline crack from the bowl down an inch long. There is also a small hole in the bend of the mouthpiece stem, about 1/8" wide on the right side. This came from the same collection all my listed Meerschaum pipes came from.
