He writes "Last Saturday was two weeks ago I put a letter in the mail at this place to you containing twenty five dollars to pay for two No 5 straw cutters in three bills- the twenty dollar note payable at Jackson, one five dollar note payable at Athens and a dollr bill on some of our banks now not recollected. I would have sent it in your own state paper but could not get it. I requested you to answer immediately so that I might know when they would reach London as I am in great want of mine, am not hearing any thing from you I have wrote again to see if there is any thing happened that has caused the delay.".
