Description: Antique wooden oak sconce for two candles. 17 in. tall 18 in. span Approx. 8 in. front to back. Once was gilded or painted gold. Later, another owner white-washed it for a more modern look. It has a repair on one of the candle arms. I have had it professionally repaired and strengthened by a licensed woodworker. It is quite strong now with only a slightly visible bit of surface scarring (last two photos, front and back). The metal reinforcements shown on the back are original to its functionality.
