Description: Antique 15/16thC Medieval Painting Portrait Painted Illuminated Manuscript Page 4 letters are illuminated along with a vignette painting depicting Mary & Jesus having there portrait painted by an artist. Measures 8" x 5 3/8". Good condition with some very light stains and creases. The stains are less apparent on side depicting image. I considered sending the page to a paper restorer to have creases and stains removed but I figured I'd leave that up to the next owner to decide whether they thought that was appropriate.
