This is a focal reducer designed for use with Schmidt Cassegrain telescopes, it has SCT 2"-24 threads for that reason. It works wellwith large SCTs down to the popular 5 and 6 inch size SCTs. While this may work as desired with other optical systems, it also may not yield desired results. While it will provide f-ratio reduction and field size change, and change to the field curvature, it is a SCT focal reducer. There is no "universal" focal reducer!
