Description: Up for auction is a Vintage Anschutz Hakim German made Egyptian Training 5.5mm / 22cal Pellet Air Rifle w/ Arabic writing. Has authentic Hakim wight and feel. These air rifles were manufactured in the 1950's for training use. This one was made in 1955. Only around 2500 were made and far fewer were brought to the US. These are very rare and highly sought after by collectors, don't miss-out. The loading lever is missing, I included a few pics of myself using an Allan wrench to operate the loading port, the Allen wrench is not included but something similar could be used until it is fixed properly. The stock is cracked near the butt end, this doesn't effect function. This has been test fired and works great! SN: 01654 The Arabic writing on the left says: Air gun for training, Top: Caliber 5.5mm 1954, Right: Anschutz Germany 1955. What looks like flames next to the scull and crossbones is actually more Arabic text that says National Guard. There is also a crest of the moon and three stars that was on the Egyptian flag at the time. This is such a cool piece of history! Thank you.
