Description: I originally got budwood of this species from GRIN. It was listed as an Annona sp. After fruiting it the fruit and growth habit appeared to be a hybrid possibly of cornifolia x nutans. Budwood was listed as coming from Bolivia where both these species occur. It makes a beautiful fruit that has a very thin edible skin that goes unnoticed. Fruit has a light sweet flavor, very creamy but the longer the fruit hangs after it turns orange the sweeter it gets. You'll get 5 x seeds of this fruit. I usually get around 100% germination but they can take up to 6 months to germinate. Slow growing but tough trees.
