Description: Breeding slate made from natural slate and acrylic base.I have been breeding fish for a while, from African Cichlids to South American fish like Angels and Discus fish.Been struggling with breeding cones and regular acrylic breeding slates (made few myself too, I own a laser cutter), but nothing have been good as these natural slates.Made with a perfect angle for Angels and Discus to lay eggs, made with heavy natural slate and thicker acrylic (To prevent tipping over and acrylic breaking), these will be perfect addition to your breeding set-up.I have added these 2 days before I took the pics of my Discus pairs with eggs. They went right on them and used them (Sorry for the dirty tanks, I was hoping to clean them today but will wait until I have wigglers before cleaning the bottom)From fish breeder to fish breeder, these the "the bomb". You will not be sorry for trying these.This listing is made on 2/16/2023, new item, but few years of breeding research went into this.All edges have been filed down to prevent injuries to the fish.Another trick with these, if you have gravel on the bottom, bury the base under the gravel, it will provide additional stability and it will look more natural.These re made with either green or clear bases. If you have a preference, please choose one.
