Andy Williams Love Theme From The Godfather Columbia 4-45579 Pitman Pressing VG+

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by Andy Williams titled "Love Theme From The Godfather (Speak Softly Love) b/w Home For Thee", originally released in 1972 by Columbia Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The archival inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax, between the labels and end of the tracks, is etched the matrix numbers 1-F/1-J, followed by an upper case "P", indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Pitman,New Jersey. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, but still with surfaces that are without any scrapes, smudges or scuffs. I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of occasional low levels of surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
