Description: This is an old Pottery Chard that was found in a plastic wrapper marked Roatan '79. The Island of Roatan is located approximately 35 Miles off the North Coast of Hondurasin the Western Caribbean, known for fantastic scuba diving. It measures from approximately 3-1/2 inches across. My late aunt was a gemologist and rock hound. She was also an avid scuba diver. She travelled extensively to enjoy her hobbies. This was in one of many boxes of old potteryshards, rocks and minerals she collected in her travels.She put a note with this saying it was from Roatan 1979 (when she found it).
