He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. It has been displayed in my beach house for many years. I had the custom base made in the mid 1990’s. This piece is probably around 400 years old. It measures 13 inches tall including the base by 5 inches wide. Heavy for its size. Always a conversation starter when people see it.
