Description: This is the Wexford pattern by Anchor Hocking. It was produced from 1962 until 1998. I have no idea how to date it beyond that. The feet give this plate a lighter look since it doesn't sit heavily on the surface. The feet also add an interesting effect to the overall look as they add a diamond to the top. There is a flowerlike medallion in the middle. It's truly lovely. I didn't find how Anchor Hocking really intended this to be used, but there are so many ways. You could float flowers, candy, business cards, in a bathroom to hold jewelry, next to a bed to hold your phone (fancy)....did I say candy😃 This is made in the pressed glass method which was developed to replicate the more expensive cut glass style. This style made it possible for "ordinary" people to have elegant pieces in their homes. The first picture was taken on my teak dining table. I love how the wood comes through it. Please look at all the photos as they are the best description of the piece. Reach out if you would like a photo of an area I might have missed or if you have any questions. Like all of the dishes I bring into my home I hand wash them. This allows me to get a close inspection of the piece. This one I thought had a rough spot or a chip, but it washed off. Thank you for looking!! Plate stand not included
