An Exceptionally Clean 1953 Singer Featherweight w/ a lot of accessories & case

Description: An Exceptionally Clean Singer Featherweight. May I Introduce Anna Beth. She was born October 14, 1953. (Serial number AL562434). Anna Beth is a smooth-running featherweight that loves to travel. She will make a wonderful sewing buddy. Anna Beth works very well and overall is in amazing condition. Her bed is in very good shape for her age. The finish on Anna Beth is in wonderful condition with a bright shine and only a few scratches. The decorative border around the base of Anna Beth is in good condition. She only shows some wear appropriate to her age. Anna Beth has been cleaned, serviced, polished and tested. The belt (super belt), light (LED), felt pad, protective silicon button, bed cushions and red spool pin cover are all new. A new needle has also been put on Anna Beth. Her bobbin case has been adjusted to 23g. I have included a sample stitch that was done on Anna Beth before I listed her. Anna Beth’s foot pedal has been cleaned, serviced and tested. The foot cushions and electrical cord on the foot pedal are new. Anna Beth’s house (the case) is in good condition for 71 years old. As with all cases from that era there is always some wear. The case still has the original Bakelite handle. Both latches work. The case still has the side tray, oil can holder and a key. Anna Beth comes with: a pristine reproduction owner’s manual, 3 bobbins, an original bobbin case, an original pressor foot, a narrow hemmer, a ruffler, a bias binder multi slotted with guide pins, an adjustable hemmer, an edge stitcher, a narrow zipper foot, a magnetic seam guide, a measuring gauge, thread snips, 20 micro cleaning brushes, a vintage Singer oil can (although I would probably not use the oil as it is old. The featherweight comes with everything seen in the photos. Please see pictures. The shipping box is approximately 21 x 14 x 13 inches and weighs 22 pounds. When I ship, I wrap the featherweight, any attachment box and foot pedal in packing cellophane then put bubble wrap inside the case. I then wrapped the case in cellophane. This way there is less chance of the finish being marred during shipping. I put inflatable air tubes around the case to cushion the featherweight while it is shipped. I take the spool pin cover off and put a piece of cardboard to cover the opening. I wrap the spool pin cover in cellophane and bubble wrap. I then put the spool pin cover in the case. This way there is less chance of it breaking during shipping. I write this so you have an idea of how I ship so you do not worry about the featherweight while it is coming to you.
