Description: We now have another set of beautiful grips for the AMT III, a scarce, collectible pistol made originally by Arcadia Machine & Tool. AMT made the "Auto Mag" series, and these grips are for the AMT AutoMag III ONLY. These DO NOT fit the AMT II "Compact" or "Micro" or the AMT II standard model or any others; please see our other listings for grips for the AMT II and other AMT models. These grips have the "AMT" logo, representing one of the entities that manufactured the grips, within the checkered area. These are made of hand-selected fine English walnut that is partially checkered, leaving the upper portion smooth; the two surface treatments are separated by a sharply-defined border that exists between checkering and smooth, providing a unique and functional grip. The unique AMT logo is engraved within the checkered portion, and is done with such detail as can only be done by lasers. The laser-cut borders of the grips are finely etched into the wood, accentuating the wood's natural grain and rich beauty. The grips can be mounted using the original screws; no screws are included with these grips. A great way to provide a secure grasp on your pistol while enhancing the appearance of your rare AMT pistol. These are made of solid walnut, and are quality grips - there is no laminate or synthetic material used. When installed on your pistol these grips leave the frontstrap and backstrap open as the do the original factory grips. These grips aren't stained, varnished or coated with anything that impairs the natural beauty of the wood. They're lightly treated with fine oil mixture to act as a preservative and help ward off moisture. The grips in the photo are those you'll receive. These grips have a DISTINCTIVE GRAIN PATTERN. Because of the nature of firearms and the variation between examples of guns, some minor fitting of the grips may be needed for your specific gun. These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel. These look great on blued, plated or stainless guns, and they're also great to replace those old, worn-out grips too.
