Exact age and origin unknown but appears to be very early - late 1700s to early 1800s.. Found forgotten in the attic of an old Mahantongo ValleyPennsylvania farm house.. Note the old mud dauber wasp nests Spinner turns (missing one handle) with hand carved gears and wood spring tensioner.. .. Lots of fine craftsman detail - note hand turned spindles and spoon carved edging..Was made to be disassembled for travel.. Was well loved many many decades ago and ready for a new home..
