Original AO American Optical Original Pilot Gold Bayonet style sunglasses with new Fuse Pro Fusion Mirror plastic polarized lenses. Fuse Pro is optical quality polycarbonate, 100% UV protection, and ANZi 87.1 impact resistant. The AO nose pads and temple tips have been removed and thoroughly cleaned. That means two things: they are clean of 20+ years of crud, and the glasses can serviced in the future. No super glue or loctite any longer. The frame now rates a solid 9/10. This frame is the original military aviator frame issued to Air Force pilots in the 60/70’s. The frame has been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, detailed and renovated to factory specifications.
