Description: Here for the American Girl Doll collector is BEAUTIFUL Molly, American Girl Doll by Pleasant Company--in very good gently cared for condition! She comes with a huge wardrobe of mostly non-AG outfits, most in NEW condition! The lettering "Pleasant Company" and the copyright sign are stamped on the back of her neck, and the artist mark is visible behind her right ear. Molly is an early Pleasant Company doll, arriving right after the white body dolls. She shares some of their wonderful characteristics. Long white flat neck strings (indicative of her early status) are intact. Tan cloth body is the earlier chubbier version and is very clean; she has no significant marks or stains that I can see; however, she was a play doll and may have the occasional shine mark. Limbs are slightly squeezable; she holds a pose and stands on her own. Long brown hair is soft and styled in braids, held in place by the original red ribbons. I note some minimal dryness for age. Soft brown eyelashes frame beautiful blue gray eyes (no silvering). She comes in her complete outfit, tagged "Made in West Germany 1986," and with her eyeglasses and red felt carrying case. Se also arrives with a beautiful quality wardrobe of six additional outfits, most of them new. A beautiful doll and collection! Perfect for a gift for that young Molly collector!
