Description: Here's a beautiful ceramic box with lid by American Encaustic Tile. The box has Chinese designs often seen in cinnabar pieces, including patterns representing a terrace, scholars, a garden, rocks and trees. The box measures 2½ inches tall, 7½ inches long and 4¾ inches wide. It weighs almost 2¾ pounds before packaging. There are a few minor nicks at the corners of the base, and the lid has a corner which has been broken and reglued. Please see pictures. It is marked on the underside as shown.
