Description: For your consideration is this antique blob top beer bottle from Ohio. The embossed label is for The Belmont Brewing Co. Martins Ferry, O. At the base of the back side is marked E H E Co. That stands for Edward H. Everett Co., Newark, Ohio, who made glass bottles from the 1880's to about 1919. This style of bottle was made in the early 1900's. It probably had a wire retainer attached to the neck, to hold the cork in place. For its age, this bottle is in pretty good shape. I believe it was found during a dig of some sort. It stands 11 1/2" tall. Its capacity is 1 pint 8oz. There is some deposits left from the soil, but not too bad. There is 1 small flake near the top. Otherwise, the condition is very good. Look over my photos to judge for yourself. Shipping via USPS Ground Advantage will be calculated from 53095, for a tube weighing 2lbs. Thanks for taking a look.
