Description: 1995 SHARK FINS OLIVE GREEN GRANITE STONE SCULPTURE by JJ HILDRETH This is a unique stone sculpture of a shark's fin, called "Just Under The Top". It is a beautiful hand carved and sculpted solid piece of OLIVE GREEN GRANITE with earthy tones of brown and gray. I imagine a tranquil bay with deep dark water, and just under the top of the water, a couple of sharks pass by. This stunning and beautiful sculpture will look fantastic on your desk, a side table, or curio cabinet. Man cave worthy item. Perfect gift for the person who has everything. Very heavy and solid one piece of stone. Northern European artist JJ HILDRETH signed the bottom, and put his whole heart into this lovely natural stone sculpture back in MAY 1995. I've owned this piece since 1997 and have been a faithful steward. Now it's your chance to display and share this lovely sculpture, all the while cherishing it and protecting it for years to come. It's condition is fabulous. There are several white streaks within the stone, that could appear like a scratch, but these are not scratches at all. It is perfectly polished smooth in just the right places. Measures approximately 9" inches long x 8" inches tall x nearly 6" inches wide. It is very heavy and weighs approx. 10 pounds.
