Description: This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Marvel reached its peak of popularity and creativity during what's known as the "Silver Age" of comics - the Sixties and early Seventies. At the start of the Marvel era, they had been publishing a bunch of anthology horror comics, and when they came up with a bunch of superheros in the early Sixties, they simply placed them in those horror series as a featured story. Thus, Strange Tales became the home of the Human Torch's solo adventures. Later on, Marvel crammed two superhero characters into each of these comics (Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense, and Strange Tales), with each issue taken up by two separate installments in the continuing adventures of two different characters. A few years after these titled were split up, Msarvel returned to the idea of shared titles, commencing Astonishing Tales and Amazing Adventures. Amazing Adventures began by showcasing the Inhumans and the Black Widow, and later featured the Beast, and then Killraven. Here I have Amazing Adventures #33, dated November 1975! It's in fine/very fine condition overall - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
