The mug is a glossy, dark red and black and it has a nice wide handle. The bottom is marked Always Azul Pottery, Villa Grove, Colorado, oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. The tankard measures approximately 5.5" tall x 6" wide from the handle x 4" wide at the base. This mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind.
