Description: WYSIWYG. ......What You See Is What You Get, one SUPER RARE Aluminum Acetate Since You're Gone/Soft Summer Breeze 78 PLAY GRADED Fully Tested. This record is an ALUMINUN ACETATE, & is in incredible shape. It was play tested from start to finish (on a cheap, manual, unbranded record player I got for twenty bucks new off the internet), from beginning to end. Yes, it actually played through very well. It sounds great with no skips or jumps. It plays Smooth, Loud, & Clear with very light noise. A generic paper dust sleeve will be included. My best guess (see grading info below) is Jacket=na Dust Sleeve=na(generic paper) Record=VG++. This is a one-of-a-kind recording, probably meant for playing 1 or 2 days on air at a radio station, or perhaps as a group's demo. NOTE: shipping will include insurance. More Info: on the record are two songs. On what I'll call side A is the 1956 hit made famous by the Diamonds-Soft Summer Breeze. On the B side is Since You're Gone. I don't know who first recorded this, or if it was ever a hit. There is a group of 3 or 4 men singing, who sound like a typical boys crooner group of their times, a bit like the Ink Spots. It's AMAZING how clear this sounds. Many people believe that you need aspecial equipment in order to play aluminum acetate discs. If you have a high end turntable, fancy stylus, or the like, you will probably NOT be able to play this on your system. I found that the cheap record player with the super cheap floating stylus & even cheaper disposable needles (6 for $9 on amazon), play acetates & durium discs cleanly. Due to their fragile nature, I do not recommend that you play this often. It is probably best to record the one playing, then put it away & listen to the recording you made. WARNING--Do you want the best for your money? Ask yourself why the other sellers don't show you the album from ALL angles, including the cover, dust jacket, and vinyl. I don't have a machine to clean records. So, I just dust them with a soft micro-fiber cloth and distilled water. There may still be dust &/or finger prints. I now listen to every record I sell from beginning to end and grade on how it sounds. After all, the way it sounds is far more important than the way it looks. A record can look NM or VG+ , but skip or otherwise sound terrible. Conversely, they can look terrible, but sound great, with little to no noise. It doesn't matter how good a visual grader you are, it is sometimes just impossible to tell without playing it all the way through. VISUAL GRADING is nothing more than a guess! Don't let a lazy seller ruin your day. A record PLAY GRADED & tested fully is the only way to be sure that you are getting what you paid for, a great record.
