Just remember to bring them inside for the winter. Alstroemeria bears some of the most beautiful cut flowers in the world. Freedom introduces an entirely new hue to this lily. Superbly tolerant of unseasonable cold and excessive heat and humidity. Southern summers don't faze it, nor do hard winters. Alstroemeria not only makes a beautiful plant for your flower beds, it also makes a great container plant that blooms all summer long right up till fall frosts, and is easy to care for. Hummingbirds love it. This variety reaches heights to 20 inches and is mildly fragrant. SHIPPING: I ship alstroemeria in the container it's currently growing in. I have found this is the best way to ship this variety. These gallon containers can be rather heavy so I have been using the medium flat rate boxes for shipping. A medium flat rate box costs $15.05 Because of the weight of these gallon containers, shipping in a medium flat rate box is the perfect solution. Keep in mind this is for one container. If you would like to purchase more than one bunch of rhizomes, I have a listing up for two bunches, shipped in the same flat rate box. WARRANTY: Please follow care instructions and culture.
