Description: ALPINE TEXAS Coffee Mug 1882-1982 Osborne Railroad Cowboy Big Bend VINTAGE 80s This is a VERY cool 1982 vintage coffee mug commemorating the 100-year Centennial celebration of Alpine's founding in 1888. It was a place frequented by cowboys driving cattle and the Osborne Railroad. Alpine is in Brewster County, the heart of the BIG BEND area of West Texas - situated between Marfa, Terlingua, Fort Davis, and Big Bend National Park. The mug is vintage and may show some signs of use but I see no crazing, cracks or chips. There are two tiny flaws from manufacture on the back (pictured - a tiny black speck and a tiny bubble-like hole in the handle). A very nice condition 39 year old piece! --- While I don't offer returns I do describe items accurately and have a 100% feedback rating after 20 years on Ebay, so bid with confidence! I usually ship USPS Priority Mail but as you may have heard not only have they made two price increases this month but are indicating shipping delays as well. Due to this I may use UPS Ground or 3-Day Delivery rather than Priority Mail. Basically I will shop around to get it to you the quickest way I can without going over the amount charged for shipping. In the event of a return buyer will pay shipping costs in both directions as well as a $10 restocking fee. Item must be returned in box and packaging it was received in and must arrive back in the condition it was sent.
