Never buy a used kerosene heater that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in the heat mantle or fuel tank. BOTH are necessary to prevent problems for the new owner. The 2 long metal support cross pins(Picture 7) are solid an strong. I have seen some in the past that were rusted and ready to break but these are perfect. Picture 7 shows the complete heat chamber after a thorough cleaning!! Very important that this is completely clean!! Very important to have the inside completely clean of all old residue to prevent foul odors and also the top of the outside clean and contaminant free to reflect the heat up the tower. Pictures 8-9 I was amazed how new like this heater was in when I received it. The top plate has 4 tabs for secure cooking and appears to be like new!! This simply shows the care that the previous owner had with this heater. This cookstove shows very little use and was carefully stored in it's ORIGINAL BOX. There are no paint chips or contamination at all. Every part was cleaned thoroughly and they all appear to be like brand new!! With simple wick cleaning and proper dry storage this cookstove will last 50+ years. Very well made and heavy duty compared to the junk being made today!! Korea and Japan has always made the BEST KEROSENE HEATERS!! Picture 10 "MOST IMPORTANT PICTURE FOR BUYING ANY KEROSENE PRODUCT"!!! INSIDE OF HEATER TANKS MUST BE PERFECT!!! Completely Rust Free, Corrosion Free, and Contamination Free!! This picture shows this heaters base tank interior that is in very good condition with no contamination. Inside was cleaned and scrubbed. CLEAN throughout and was scrubbed and inspected all around inside and out. Other sellers do not do this!! NOTICE the exceptionally clean top post that is as clean as a whistle. I removed the top post plate so that I can clean the underneath area's of the plate and the post lip. ORIGINAL manufacturers labels in place. NOTICE that the fuel gauge and fuel cap were removed for cleaning and their rubber gaskets cleaned and inspected. This tank is absolutely perfect and appears to be BRAND NEW!! Also notice the top plate was removed and cleaned both sides. This is where old contamination sits and collects which prevents the wick from functionally properly and also gives off that nasty contamination odor if not clean. This is now good for another 50 years!! Picture 11 Bottom Base Tank is very important to make sure is in excellent shape all around. Check out the exceptionally clean center post. Notice the BRAND NEW KEROWORLD WICK that was installed into this cookstove. These wicks are readily available and I have hundreds in stock. Installing the wick is a very easy process because these wicks have a black line on them that lines up with the bottom of the wick adjuster and is held in with metal tabs that are inside the wick adjuster. Picture 12 Bottom Drip Tray is in AWESOME SHAPE. SOLID, STRONG AND NO HOLES. Bottom Drip Tray's take more abuse then any other part of the heater because they are moved around and get scratched and also many people store these in damp basements or garages that cause rust holes BUT NOT IN THIS CASE!! There are some minor scratches but not bad. This heater was stored inside the original box and one thing I have learned over the years is that when people keep the original box's ....they tend to be very respective of their heaters. The bottom drip tray is designed to seat under the heater and held in place with the tabs. The tray is just slightly larger than the heaters base tank to catch any spilled kerosene if needed. This prevents rug or floor damage from kerosene. Pictures 13-15 BRAND NEW KEROWORLD WICK was installed in this heater and will last a very long time. The all metal mantle sits above the wick and allows the heat to move up the chimney for heating your pots and pans. With a simply, easy turn of the wick adjuster knob, all the way up, and light the wick using a long lighter. Very easy Wick to clean with the "Dry Burning Process" which will clean your wick while the heater burns dry. The Dry Burn process is explained in my personal Easy Wick Cleaning Maintenance Guide and in the Owners Manual. Also notice the exceptionally clean WICK ADJUSTER and RUBBER GASKET. This rubber gasket slips under the wick adjuster to seal the wick adjuster and tank from leaking kerosene. Picture 16 This back view of the heater shows the manufacturers label in place and has the information about this cookstove on it. Pictures 17-18 This picture shows the 2 cookstove tops that are included with this cookstove. One is in perfect condition and the other one had a broken tab on it that can easily be repaired if needed. I believe the previous owner said they replaced the top grate when they accidently broke one of the tabs and ordered a new one. This one is still useable and makes for a great spare!!
