It's made with 100% Alpaca fur with natural coloring. Since no dyes or bleaches are ever used the colors will never change or fade. Alpaca furs are stain resistant. The fur retains about 90% of their natural oils, therefore dust and dirt will not adhere to them, it just slides right off the individual cylindrical shaped fibers (hairs) of the fur when simply brushed out with a metal pet brush. For severe stains like grease, or liquid spills like wine or blood, it's recommended to use Woolite Carpet Cleaner ( it's a bleach free cleaner, so the natural colors won't be compromised).
