Front matter and pages 1-104 have a water stain at top of page (see photos); stain does not intrude upon plates or text. Text block edges have light water marks. No foxing. Brown stain to outer top coner of pp.185-218 (see photo). Remarks: Copyright date 1893, no date on tp. Chromolithographed frontispiece; process relief printed plates; relief printed illustrations. Williams, Madden, and Green note Crowell editions in 1903 and 1906, but do not specify Astor Prose editions. We belive the Astor Prose editions to have been published 1896-1919, and would love to learn more.
