Description: VINTAGE 1970's A pristine set of beautifully retro 4 corn-on-the-cob glass dishes. Perfect for alfresco dining, especially when you are looking to make a statement.These are rectangular in shape with cut out ends, and softly rounded sides. The inside part of the dish is smooth, while the base has two feet and a raised weave (corn) pattern.These dishes are still in their original box, and do not appear to have much, if any use. I think that they may be crystal, although mound formed as they have a clear ring when tapped and are very heavy.The box says "The Gourmet Kitchen Collection, 4 pc" Made by Rayware. Each dish is 22 cm in length and has a width of 7 cm.I always like it when I have a set to serve something so specifically - and wonderful out with the barbeque - simply pop the cobs direct onto the grid, and keep turning and serve with hot butter.
