Alfred Klitgaard Alfred Klitgaard was originally trained as a cabinet maker, but he gave up furniture and threw his love into small boxes and other useful items made of wood. It is characteristic of Klitgaard's jewelry boxes and all the other boxes he makes that they are not designed in strange shapes - they are just square, as boxes usually are.
