Description: What an amazing little piece of history!a bunch of memorabilia from Calder Fest 74which was The General Services Administration's dedication ceremony of the stabile "Flamingo" by Alexander Calderat the Chicago Federal Center on October 25, 1974 it includes THESE ITEMS ONLY:~ a typed GSA News Release (double sided)~ "Remarks by Arthur F. Sampson, Administrator of General Services Administration for PRESS CONFERENCE (5 pages. total)~ a page about HONORABLE ARTHUR F. SAMPSON~ and a photograph of him~ There is a photo of what looks like was the model of the sculpture installed~ a sticker (unused)~ what I would call a table tent - folded card that sits on a table - with info (and some doodles on the back)~ All contained inside a folder with a General Services Administration sticker inside, and the same Calder sticker outside This came in a box of many items, but it also included some Picasso prints (not originals), and some sketches or etchings that I have yet to identify. All thrown without care in the bottom of a box that also had a suitcase, a mink or fox stole, and many other misc. vintage items....I don't think they are all from the same person, but thought it was worth a mention. note that this is in vintage condition, with signs of age and wear, and some markings and stains may be found...please examine photos - I examine items thoroughly, but may miss something...pictures are always part of my description, and purchasing my items is your agreement that you have read the description and examined all photos...questions?
