Description: Vintage chalkware ABCO Alexander Backer Co. figurine statuette of an oriental (?) mandolin/guitar player Hand-painted, still has ABCO sticker on bottom. Stands 6.25" tall This came from a barn that hadn't seen the light of day since the very early 70s, and just about everything we rescued from the barn was from the 50s and 60s. We have no idea of its age. Chip on nose and upper lip, one other similar-sized chip at top of hat, otherwise very good, could use a more detailed cleaning than we gave him. Ships inside a sturdy unmarked cardboard box - no worries!
