Description SD205 Passive Stereo DI Compact Direct Input Box The SD205 Stereo DI Box is tailor made for interfacing with laptops, tablets, smart phones, DJ consoles and other music players requiring a direct input connection into a mixer or speaker. Included is a 3.5mm to mini XLR cable for inputting the sound source. There is a pair of 1/4" (6.35mm) jack outputs for linking to other line level devices, as well as a single XLR mono out to connect to a mixing console mic input. It therefore can sum the stereo source into a mono balanced signal (Summing DI functionality), or split into separate left/right 1/4" outputs. Built Tough to Last Alctron have made the SD series of DI boxes to withstand the toughest of conditions, as well as be noticable in low light situations. Each device is made from high quality aluminium, which is resitant to strong impacts. The small form factor also helps in tight space situations. Each DI box in the series is coloured differently, which is helpful when in low light. The SD205 has a distinct blue colour. Added Features The SD205 provides a pad switch offering -15dB, and a ground / lift switch is offered as well. As this DI is passive, there is no need for any power source.
