Description: Set of 13 menus from August 1947 cruise on Alcoa Steamship's SS Alcoa Cavalier, which traveled from New Orleans to South America. The menus date from Sunday, August 17 to Sunday, August 30 but not all dates and not all meals for that span. Each menu measures 9 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches. There is some age wear and each was folded in quarters at some point. They will also be shipped folded. There are a few pencil marks on some menus where an item was scratched off and there is a handwritten laundry list on the back of one. See my other listings for more steamship menus.
