Description: An etching by the famed Swiss sculptor Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966), 'Dans l'Atelier' (In the Studio), 1965, Lust 187. Unsigned. A fine impression, on heavy cream wove paper, with margins (2 1/4 to 2 3/8 inches); a small area of light skinning in the top center margin, well away from the image, otherwise in very good condition. Originally published in an edition of 50 signed and numbered impressions, and 150 unsigned impressions in the book 'Paroles Peintes' published by O. Lazar-Vernet, Paris, 1965. This is a later impression from the cancelled plate. Plate size 10 x 7 3/4 inches; sheet size 14 5/8 x 12 3/8 inches. Archivally sleeved, unmatted.
